The second way is to complete the daily challenges that are a little more intense but earn players a spot on the leaderboard if their run is good enough. Each gang has a set of challenges that will not only get their allegiance when completed but will give unique cosmetics and rewards for completing optional challenges. There is also a gauntlet that fires surge abilities, which are special attacks that have a cooldown period.Ĭhallenges are available in two ways, with the first from the variety of gangs that the player must recruit to fight back against the FFC. For a start, there is a slide mechanic that has some good distance and will damage enemies and objects along the way.
Everything from the movement, camera position, aiming, and firing will feel right at home for Fortnite players, but Arcadegeddon has a couple of unique mechanics.
ARCADEGEDDON MOVIE
It is best described as a cross between Fortnite and the movie Osmosis Jones, with its gameplay feeling very similar to the former. The first thing that stands out about Arcadegeddon is its art design and aesthetics. In a world dominated by the entertainment giant FunFUNco (FFC), one arcade still stands and its owner, Gilly, decides to create a game so great that people flock back to arcades - Arcadegeddon. The FFC catches wind of this however and infects the game with a virus which the player character, Plug, is sent in to clean out. Arcadegeddon is a third-person shooter from developer IllFonic, creators of Predator: Hunting Grounds, that takes elements of different shooter genres and combines them into a satisfying gameplay loop.
